برنس روجر نيلسون (بالإنجليزية: Prince Roger Nelson) (7 يونيو 1958 - 21 أبريل 2016) هو مغني وكاتب أغاني وعازف متعدد الآلات وممثل أمريكي ولد في يوم 7 يونيو 1958 في مدينة منيابولس في الولايات المتحدة، اشتهر في فترة الثمانينات والتسعينات وقد حاز على 7 جوائز غرامي وغولدن غلوب والأوسكار وقد باع أكثر من 100 مليون تسجيل له وهذا جعله ضمن الأكثر المغنين نجاحاً.

أصبح نجما عالميا في الثمانينات حيث صدرت أغان له بأسماء: "1999"، بربل راين (المطر البنفسجي)، وساين أوذا تايمز (علامة الأزمنة).

صدر له 39 ألبوما غنائيا خلال مدة قدرها 35 عاما. مكنته أغنيته في فيلم «بربل راين» من الحصول على الأوسكار سنة 1984 حيث أن موسيقاه مصممة من نفس الألبوم الذي يحمل نفس الاسم، إضافة إلى مشاركته في التمثيل في الفيلم. سجل اسمه ضمن قاعة مشاهير الروك آند رول. كان أحدث ألبوماته هو «هيت إن ران: فيز تو» الصادر في ديسمبر 2015

Susannah Melvoin (born January 26, 1964) is an American vocalist and songwriter. Melvoin is best known for her association with Prince in the mid-1980s. Melvoin comes from a musical family and is the twin sister of musician Wendy Melvoin, sister of Jonathan Melvoin (former touring keyboardist with the Smashing Pumpkins), and daughter of jazz pianist (and former NARAS president) Michael Melvoin.

Denise Katherine Matthews (January 4, 1959 – February 15, 2016), known professionally as Vanity, was a Canadian singer, songwriter, dancer, model, and actress. Known for her image as a sex symbol in the 1980s, in the 1990s she renounced her career as Vanity and became an evangelist.

She was the lead singer of the female trio Vanity 6, created by the musician Prince. Known for their 1982 hit song "Nasty Girl", they disbanded in 1983 when Vanity embarked on a solo career. She released two solo albums on the Motown Records label, Wild Animal and Skin on Skin, and had three minor hit singles. As an actress, she starred in the films The Last Dragon (1985), 52 Pick-Up (1986), Never Too Young to Die (1986), and Action Jackson (1988).

After years of drug abuse causing kidney problems, Matthews became a born-again Christian in 1992 and later devoted herself to her church in Fremont, California. Matthews died of kidney failure on February 15, 2016, aged 57.
