كاثرين إليزابيث هيدسون (بالإنجليزية: Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson) (مواليد 25 أكتوبر 1984(1984-10-25)) تعرف باسمها الفني كيتي بيري (بالإنجليزية: Katy Perry) هي مغنية أمريكية وكاتبة أغاني وممثلة نشأت في كاليفورنيا، في بلدة سانتا باربارا، كاليفورنيا، وعاشت في كنف عائلة مسيحية حيث كان والداها قسيسين؛ لذلك كبرت على سماع الأغاني والموسيقى الدينية المسيحية، وفي شبابها وحياتها المهنية أهتمت بالأغاني الإنجيلية. وبعد إمضاءها على إتفاقية الألبوم مع «تسجيلات ريد هيل»، أصدرت أول ألبوم إستديو يحمل اسمها «كاتي هيدسون» في عام 2001. ثم انتقلت فيما بعد إلى مدينة لوس أنجلوس كي تستطيع الغناء خارج الإطار الديني. ووقعت على اتفاقية مع «تسجيلات كابيتول» في أبريل 2007 بعد انتهاء مدة إتفاقياتها مع «تسجيلات كولومبيا» و«مجموعة الجزيرة ديف جام الموسيقية». اشتهرت كيتي في 2008 بفضل أغانيها المنفردة «قبلت فتاة» و«ساخن وبارد» التي أضافتهم لألبومها الثاني «واحد من الصبيان» وهو في نمط موسيقى البوب روك، وتسببت تلك الأغنيتين المنفردتين في إثارة الجدل لاحتوائهم على موضوعات مثيرة للجنس. أما عن الأغاني المنفردة «فتيات كاليفورنيا»، «حلم المراهقة»، «ألعاب نارية»، «إي تي» وأغنية «ليلة الجمعة السابقة» من ألبومها الثالث حلم المراهقة الذي يحتوي على موسيقى الديسكو قد حصلوا على المرتبة الأولى في قائمة بيلبورد هوت 100. وهكذا أصبح هذا الألبوم ثاني ألبوم يحتوى على خمسة أغاني أحتلوا المراتب الأولى في قائمة بيلبورد هوت 100، وأصبح أول ألبوم لإمرأة يحصل على هذا اللقب. وبعد أضافتها الأغنيتين المنفردتين «جزء مني» و«مستيقظ تماما» اللذان أيضا حصلا على المرتبة الأولى أعادت إصدار الألبوم باسم حلم المراهقة : الحلوى الكاملة في مارس 2012. أحتوى ألبوم كيتي الرابع الذي أصدرته في 2013 واسمه منشور على موسيقى البوب والرقص وعلاوة على ذلك فقد حصلت كليبات هذا الألبوم على نسبة مشاهدة تجاوزت المليون في فيفو، ثم ضمت إليه الأغنتين المنفردتين زئير وحصان أسود التي حصلتا على نسبة مشاهدة تخطت المليار، وبذلك أصبحت بيري أول مطربة تحصل على نسبة مشاهدة كهذه لكليباتها وتعاونت في كتابة أغانيها مع العديد من المؤلفين وعلى رأسهم دكتور لوك وماكس مارتن. وتناولت موضوعات معينة مثل: احترام الذات وتطويرها، في بعض أغانيها مثل أغنيتي زئير و«ألعاب نارية». اشتهرت بيري بملابسها الأصلية والمسلية المزينة بالألوان اللامعة التي تحتوي على مواضيع متعلقة بالأطعمة.

Travis Lazarus "Travie" McCoy (born August 5, 1981) is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He is the co-founder and lead vocalist of the rap rock band Gym Class Heroes, which he formed in 1997 with his classmate Matt McGinley, after the two became acquainted with the East Coast punk rock scene.

Gym Class Heroes recorded independently before signing with Fueled by Ramen to release their second album, The Papercut Chronicles (2005). During its production, the band entered a joint venture with labelmate Pete Wentz's Decaydance Records. Their third album and major label debut, As Cruel as School Children (2006), spawned the hit singles "Cupid's Chokehold" and "Clothes Off!!." In 2007, McCoy launched the label BatSquad to sign then-unknown rapper Tyga. Following the release of The Quilt (2008), Gym Class Heroes took a hiatus, and McCoy shifted focus to his solo work. He signed with Decaydance in a joint venture with T-Pain's Nappy Boy Entertainment to release his debut studio album, Lazarus (2010). Its lead single, "Billionaire" featuring Bruno Mars), peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and received quadruple Platinum certification by the RIAA. His 2015 single, "Golden" (featuring Sia), received certified Platinum certification in Australia. In 2022, McCoy signed with Hopeless Records to release his second solo album, Never Slept Better. Gym Class Heroes were inducted into the Rochester Music Hall of Fame in 2025.

Thomas Wesley Pentz (born November 10, 1978), known professionally as Diplo, is an American DJ and music producer. He is a co-creator and lead member of the electronic dancehall music project Major Lazer; a member of the supergroup LSD, with Labrinth and Sia; a member of electronic duo Jack Ü, with producer and DJ Skrillex; and a member of Silk City, with Mark Ronson. He founded the record company Mad Decent in 2006 and the nonprofit organization Heaps Decent in 2007. His 2013 extended play (EP) Revolution debuted at number 68 on the US Billboard 200. Its title track was later featured in a Hyundai commercial and appears on the WWE 2K16 soundtrack.

Diplo worked with and dated British musician M.I.A., producing her 2008 breakout single "Paper Planes", which gave him initial mainstream exposure. In 2011, he and fellow producer Switch formed the electronic musical group Major Lazer and its namesake cartoon series for FXX, which ran for one season. The group released five studio albums that explored EDM and dancehall music, pioneering a new musical genre, ReggaeEDM. Justin Pierre James Trudeau (born December 25, 1971) is a Canadian politician who served as the 23rd prime minister of Canada from 2015 to 2025. He led the Liberal Party from 2013 until his resignation in 2025 and was the member of Parliament (MP) for Papineau from 2008 until 2025.

Trudeau was born in Ottawa, Ontario, during the first premiership of his father, Pierre Trudeau. He attended Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from McGill University and a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of British Columbia. He then taught at the secondary school level in Vancouver before returning to Montreal in 2002 to further his studies. He served as chair for the youth charity Katimavik and as director of the not-for-profit Canadian Avalanche Association. In 2006, he was appointed as chair of the Liberal Party's Task Force on Youth Renewal. Trudeau was elected to represent the riding of Papineau in the House of Commons in the 2008 federal election. He became the Liberal Party's Official Opposition critic for youth and multiculturalism in 2009 and critic for citizenship and immigration in 2010. In 2011, he was appointed as a critic for secondary education and sport. In 2013, Trudeau was elected as leader of the Liberal Party. He led the Liberals to a majority government in the 2015 federal election, bringing the party from a third place finish in the previous election with the largest numerical increase of seats by a party in a Canadian election. He became the second-youngest prime minister in Canadian history and the first to be the child of a previous prime minister.

Upon assuming office, Trudeau introduced the Canada Child Benefit, legalized medical assistance in dying, legalized recreational cannabis, pursued Senate reform by creating the Independent Advisory Board for Senate Appointments, and established the federal carbon tax. In foreign policy, Trudeau's government resettled refugees of the Syrian civil war, signed the Paris Agreement on climate change, and negotiated trade deals such as the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) and the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). He was found twice to have violated conflict of interest law by Canada's ethics commissioner—first in the Aga Khan affair, and later in the SNC-Lavalin affair.

Trudeau's Liberal Party was re-elected with a minority government in the 2019 federal election. From 2020, Trudeau responded to the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent recession by launching financial aid programs, a nationwide vaccination campaign, and military support. His government also announced a ban on "assault-style" weapons after the 2020 Nova Scotia attacks and introduced a national $10-a-day child care program. He was investigated for a third time by the ethics commissioner for his role in the WE Charity scandal, but was cleared of wrongdoing. Trudeau led the Liberals to another minority government in the 2021 federal election. He then invoked the Emergencies Act for the first time in Canadian history in response to the Freedom Convoy protests; the Federal Court later ruled this action unjustified and in violation of Charter rights. In early 2022, the Liberals signed a confidence and supply agreement with the New Democratic Party (NDP), which resulted in the introduction of the Canadian Dental Care Plan and a framework for national pharmacare before the NDP withdrew from the agreement in late 2024. Internationally, Trudeau's government responded to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine by imposing sanctions on Russia and authorizing humanitarian and military aid to Ukraine. His premiership ended during a trade war launched by the United States, to which he responded by implementing 25% retaliatory tariffs on $30 billion of U.S. goods.

Following a steady decline in popular support, the sudden resignation of deputy prime minister Chrystia Freeland in December 2024 and an ensuing political crisis, Trudeau announced in January 2025 that he would resign as prime minister and leader of the Liberal Party. He advised the governor general to prorogue Parliament until March 24, while the party held a leadership election. Trudeau remained Liberal leader until Mark Carney was elected as his successor on March 9. He resigned as prime minister five days later and stood down as an MP at the 2025 federal election.
